Summer Camp Possibilities

It’s not too late to still get your unit or Scouts into summer camp. While Cherokee Area Council does not offer a Boy Scout summer camp, there are several camps that units can attend in surrounding councils.

Links are provided below for each of these, so that you can go to their website and see what is offered at the camp. Most of these still have openings if you are flexible on your summer camp timing.

You can also go to a roundtable and check with other leaders to find out where they have gone and how they liked each of the camps. Some of the units rotate between different camps each year to give their Scouts a different selection of activities and merit badges, while others pick a favorite and return there each year.

Contact information for each of the councils is found on their website.
